Established in 1921 during India’s freedom struggle, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith stands as a symbol of self-reliance, national pride, and academic excellence. Located in the spiritual and cultural capital of India—Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh—this prestigious university was founded by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and inspired by the vision of Mahatma Gandhi, who strongly advocated for education rooted in Indian values and self-governance.
